‫شیرین نشاط در هیئت داوران جشنواره سینمایی برلین

فستیوال سینمایی برلین در اطلاعیه‌ای اعضای هیئت داوران دور آینده این جشنواره بین‌المللی را معرفی کرد. شیرین نشاط، هنرمند و فیلمساز ایرانی، عضو هیئت داوران امسال جشنواره است.
ریاست هیئت داوران دوره شصت و سوم جشنواره برلین را، که از ۷ تا ۱۷ فوریه برگزار می‌شود، وونگ کاروای، سینماگر چینی به عهده دارد. شش عضو هیئت داوران عبارتند از: سوزان بیر، آندرآس درزن، الن کوراس، شیرین نشاط، تیم رابینز و آتینا تسانگاری.

New York Screenings: Downtown 'Koch,' Uptown Jafar Panahi

New York's Uptown Downtown subway screening series continues this week with a showings of two pithy and pertinent political documentaries, one about the quintessential New York politico who's always been a masterful storyteller with a particularly strong on scene personal presence, and the other about a Persian master storyteller whose compelling narrative films made him a political target in Iran.

See Koch, filmmaker Neil Barskey's entertaining and comprehensive biopic and tribute film about NYC's former Mayor Ed, playing at the IFC Center in Koch's own home base neighborhood of Greenwich Village on January 29.

Then, take the A Train to Harlem for the January 30 and 31 Maysles Cinema's screenings of Jafar Panahi's brilliant and brave autobiographical documentary This Is Not A Film, shot within confines of the Tehran apartment where he has been under house arrest, and in defiance of a gag order that prohibits him from making films or talking to the press for twenty years.

International Campaign in Support of Jafar Panahi https://www.facebook.com/JafarPanahi http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpHGu8HLK6s Iranian film-maker Jafar Panahi's "This Is Not A Film" premiered at Cannes on Thursday after being smuggled out of the Islamic republic where the dissident has been sentenced to six years in jail. The film, "In Film Nist" in Farsi and screening out of competition, depicts a day in Panahi's life as he waits to hear the appeal's verdict on his jail sentence, as well as a 20-year film-making ban and a travel ban. An Iranian court in December handed Panahi, 50, the sentence after he was convicted of "propaganda against the system" for making a film about unrest after the disputed re-election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in June 2009. Fellow Iranian Mohammad Rasoulof, whose "Be Omid e Didar" ("Goodbye") is being shown in the festival's Un Certain Regard section, received the same sentence but he arrived in Cannes Tuesday after his travel ban was lifted. "This Is Not A Film" begins with what sounds like distant sporadic gunfire ringing out, followed by sirens. But, just as this is not a film, it transpires that the gunfire is in fact fireworks during a traditional fire festival. But again, things are not what they seem. The festival is often seized on as an opportunity to protest — implicitly or explicitly — against the government, and some kind of protest going on is hinted at during the film. This year, the festival fell on the night of March 15, the day during which Panahi's film was shot. Panahi wanders around his surprisingly plush apartment, talking to his lawyer on the phone and trying to build a relationship with a large pet lizard. A woman neighbour comes to try and get him to look after her dog, and a man studying for a master's degree in the arts becomes an accidental protagonist when he arrives to collect the rubbish. Mirtahmasb shoots Panahi with a professional video camera, while Panahi shoots with an iPhone, raising the question: is what he's doing making a film? "You call this a film?" Panahi asks Mirtahmasb at one point. Panahi reads from and enacts a film script about a girl who is locked up to prevent her going to university. The script was was refused by Iranian authorities, again raising the question: when does a film become a film? Panahi watches extracts from his own films, comparing himself to some of his characters, including a little girl acting in his 1997 film "The Mirror" who refuses to act and throws off the cast on her arm. "I must remove my cast and throw it away," Panahi says. The film's credits roll with "Thanks to colleagues:" and "Many thanks to:" followed by blank spaces and then an announcement that the film is "Dedicated to Iranian film-makers." Panahi has been feted in his absence at foreign film festivals and Cannes is no exception. The film's co-director, Mojtaba Mirtahmasb, addressed the audience before the screening. "I'm very happy that the film could be made and very happy that it's at Cannes," he said. "The god Zaroastra said that to fight darkness you don't brandish a sword but you light a candle." Berlin in February, Venice in September and Cannes a year ago all invited him to sit on their juries, leaving a symbolic empty chair for him when he was barred from leaving Iran. Security officials in Iran have raided at least four newspapers and arrested several journalists in what appears to be concerted action aimed at intimidating the media in advance of the presidential elections in June.

Sources in Tehran said reformist newspapers Etemaad, Shargh, Bahar and Arman were targeted by a group of plain-clothes officials who ransacked offices, filmed staff, confiscated documents and held several journalists.

When the Guardian phoned journalists at Etemaad and Bahar in the evening, officials were still present in the offices and editors of the two newspapers could not be reached. Etemaad's editor-in-chief, Javad Daliri, was reported to be among at least 10 journalists who have been arrested.

The semi-official Mehr news agency confirmed that a number of journalists have been arrested and said that officials were holding arrest warrants issued by judicial authorities.

Others reported to have been arrested include Sassan Aghaei, Nasrin Takhiri, Pourya Alami, Emili Amraee, Pejman Mousavi, Saba Azarpeik, Narges Joudaki, Motahareh Shafiee and Akbar Montajebi. It not clear where they have been taken, nor if more journalists have been detained. Journalists from the reformist Aseman weekly have also been arrested, according to Mehr.

مراسم تشییع پیکر مرحوم مسعود بهنام صبح امروز(8 بهمن) در میان خیل انبوه سینماگران ایرانی در تالار وحدت برگزار شد.

در این مراسم جمعی از هنرمندان سینما همچون؛ جعفر پناهی،امیر اثباتی، محمد مهدی عسگرپور، فرهاد توحیدی، رخشان بنی‌اعتماد، منوچهر محمدی، همایون اسعدیان، عزیز ساعتی، سعید شهسواری، غلامرضا موسوی، نظام الدین کیایی، شهاب رضویان، امیر حسین المهدی، مجتبی میرطهماسب، امیراسفندیاری، محمدرضا پاکدل، مصطفی شایسته، پرویز پرستویی، محمدعلی سجادی، سیامک شایقی، غزل شاکری، سیدمحمود رضوی، رضا میرکریمی، مازیار میری، پرویز آبنار، ابوالحسن داودی، شهاب‌الدین عادل و سهیل جهان بیگلری‌پور… حضور داشتند.

مسعود بهنام در سن 57 سالگی شامگاه ‌6 بهمن ماه بر اثر سکته قلبی در منزل مسکونی خود درگذشت.

او که مدیریت استودیو بهمن را برعهده داشت، متولد 1334 کرماشاه، فارغ التحصیل مدرسه عالی تلویزیون و سینما در سال 1354 بود و صدابرداری و صداگذار فیلم‌های مختلفی چون: شبح کژدم، آن سوی آتش‌، لنگرگاه‌، ماهی ،‌ روز باشکوه‌، تمام وسوسه‌های زمین‌، آخرین روز بهار‌، دادستان‌، دو نیمه سیب‌، نان و شعر‌، بوی خوش زندگی‌، عاشقانه‌، سفر به چزابه‌، براده‌های خورشید،‌ ساغر‌،‌ کمکم کن‌، کیسه برنج‌، بودن یا نبودن‌، زمانی برای مستی اسب‌ها‌، بوی کافور عطر یاس،‌ شب یلدا،‌ نیمه پنهان‌، متولد ماه مهر‌، شام آخر‌، کاغذ بی‌خط‌، نان و عشق‌ ،‌موتور هزار‌،دوئل،‌ واکنش پنجم و…. را انجام داده است.

سیمرغ بلورین بهترین صدا گذاری را هم در سال 1375 برای فیلم «براده‌های خورشید» از پانزدهمین جشنواره‌ی فیلم فجر گرفت و در جشن خانه سینما مراسم بزرگداشتش دو سال قبل برگزار شد.

لازم به ذکر است که زنده یاد بهنام تا ساعاتی قبل از فوت، مشغول انجام آخرین مراحل فنی فیلم حوض نقاشی به کارگردانی مازیار میری برای حضور در جشنواره فیلم فجر بوده است.

‫هر دو ظاهرن قربانی سیستم هستند؛ قربانی سانسور، ممنوعیت و در یک کلام حذف. اما حاکمیت، جعفر پناهی را شهید کرد. همانطور که نیروی هر شهیدی در امر نمادین از غیابش ناشی می‌شود، پناهی نیز بعد از این حذف باشکوه شد. تجسمی از پایمردی، شجاعت و آزادیخواهی . یک بدن غایب و نیرومند در صدر اخبار، بیانیه‌ها، تحصن‌های بین‌المللی و به خصوص آن بدن غایبی که روی صندلی هیئت داوران فستیوال برلین نشست. یک بدن نیرومند همه‌جایی و نامرئی که قدرتش را نیز از یک غیاب دیگر می‌گرفت ؛ از فیلمی که ساخته نشد ! جعفر پناهی با فیلم نساختنش، نیرومندتر شد. این یک اشتباه استراتژیک از طرف حاکمیت بود. هاله‌ی قدسی دورتادور او را گرفت و حاکمیت ناچار شد، هزینه‌های ولوله‌های تبلیغاتی، تحصن‌های بین‌المللی، بیانیه‌ها و تیترهای مجامع هنری و… را بپردازد. یک شهید، خطرناک‌ترین بدن را دارد. یک بدن بدون اندام، که قابلیت سیلان یافتن دارد. بدنی که کنترل‌ناپذیر است. حذف جعفر پناهی یک پیروزی موقتی است. پیروزی ناشی از یک امر سلبی. ناشی از ساختن یک غیاب توانا. موقتی است چرا که شخصی می‌شود. و تمام شخص-محوری‌ها به زودی فراموش می‌شوند.یا دست‌کم تنها به عنوان لحظاتی دلچسب در تاریخ سینما نشانه‌گذاری می‌شوند
اما سیستم در مورد ناصر تقوایی ظاهرن این گاف را نداد. تقوایی در سکوت در حال پوسیدن است. هر فیلمی که او نساخته‌است، هر فیلمی که نمی‌سازد، هر فیلمی که نخواهد ساخت یک ضربه‌‌ی عاطفی به وجدان جمعی ماست. سیستم در حال زنده‌به گور کردن اوست .او نه پروپاگاندا و شیپورچی‌ دارد و نه یک بدن نامرئی همه‌جا حاضر. بدن او همان پوست چسبیده به استخوانی است که در مراسم جشن منتقدان حاضر شد. همان جایی که گفت ، فیلم نمی‌سازد تا به سهم خودش این سینما را نابود کند! چه شرافتی بالاتر از این؟
هر فیلمی که او نمی‌سازد، یک غیاب ظاهرن پیروزمندانه‌ی موقتی نیست‌ ، یک سیاهچاله برای بلعیدن است. برای درهم‌شکستن کنترل‌ها، مراقبت‌ها، خط‌کشی‌ها، هاله‌سازی‌ها، سانسورها و برای نابود کردن تمام آن قواعد تا بن‌فاسدی که سلسله مراتب اسطوره‌وار این سینما را می‌سازد. او با گشاده ترین آغوش‌ها به سوی این زنده به گوری می‌رود تا بتواند سیاهچاله‌اش را گسترش دهد. چرا دیگران نروند؟ چرا ما نرویم؟ باید به سیاهچاله‌ها فکر کرد ، به پیوند هزاران سیاهچاله‌ی کوچک که به یکدیگر می‌پیوندند. و این قطعی‌ترین و بزرگ‌ترین «نه» به قصاب است. روشی برای تولید خاکستر به شیوه‌ی ققنوس.
